It is not always possible or convenient to have your parcels delivered to your home address. At Translife we offer our clients two possible solutions. UPS Access Point™ or Collect+ both courier services deliver to a local store or access point. Listed below are the details pertinent to each of the services in question. Who This Is for?
Consumers who prefer to pick up their packages at a convenient neighbourhood location with extended business hours over home delivery. UPS are a global courier and this service is offered not just in the UK but in most countries across the globe. If this service is available in your region then the option will be visible at the checkout stage.
How Long Does Delivery Take?
The delivery period is varied but in general, within the UK it is 1-2days after dispatching from Translife. For European address, the cost and delivery period depending on the Access Point Service selected i.e 1-3 days or economy 3-6 working day service, the options will be provided to you for your consideration.
How much does it cost?
For the UK the fixed price is £7 up to a weight of 5kg. For shipments outside the UK, we will provide a quote at the order stage.
Can I select my Access Point Delivery Address Yes it can be added into the delivery address field if you wish or we can send a list of nearest options to you.
Designed to fit around your busy lifestyle. The Collect Plus network involves shops, garages, off-licences and other forms of outlets who act as your personal post box. You will find that in most instances there is a Collect Plus facility within 1/2 a mile of your home. The way it works is very simple.
When the collectPlus option is selected a box opens allowing you to enter the address of the collectPlus facility you require the parcel delivered to. We have an option that takes you to the collectplus website for you to find the nearest store. All you have to do is copy and paste the details into the box provided. If you wish we can select the address for you and notify you accordingly.
Once we have labelled up the parcel and dropped it off to our dispatch point, you will receive a notification either by email or SMS indicating the parcel is in the system and providing you with a tracking number. This tracking number is also available on our website if required. Once the parcel is received at your designated delivery point (this will take around 3-5 working days) you will receive an email or SMS notification indicating that the parcel is available for collection. Please ensure that you take some form of positive identification with you when you collect the parcel.
