Don’t throw your false eyelashes away reuse them. Fake eyelashes enhance your eyes and add drama to any makeup look. Many lash lovers toss their fake eyelashes at the end of the night assuming they are disposable and for single use only. This can get expensive. In fact, most false eyelashes are actually designed for multiple wears and can be cleaned and reused several times. All it takes to maintain and reuse your lashes is a few moments and some common products you probably already have at home.

Remove your lashes gently, beginning at the outer corner. Pull slowly and evenly on the lash until the entire strip has pulled away from your skin. Repeat on your other eye.
Soak a cotton pad in eye makeup remover and swipe the liquid across the full length of the lashes to remove any mascara or eyeliner residue, you can also use a spoiler or make-up wand (as shown) to remove the mascara . Gently rub both sides of the eyelashes as well as along the adhesive strip.

Remove any excess glue that has remained on the lash strip using your tweezers. Gently hold the “hairs” of the lashes and pull away at the glue remnants, being careful not to tug at the actual lashes or lash strip which will damage them.
Soak a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and wipe along the the lash strip. This will remove any final remnants of glue as well as disinfect the area for your next use. The eye are is extremely sensitive, and leftover glue particles or eye makeup can cause irritation. Run the swab over the area several times to fully remove any product.
