Many clients have questions before arranging their first dressing service appointment. Here are three of the most common concerns, answered clearly and honestly.
Is the studio really private?
Yes. Our private dressing studio is appointment-only and not open to the general public. Your visit is arranged exclusively for you, giving you a calm, discreet and confidential environment.
Will I see anyone else?
No. We only see one client at a time, so you will not meet other clients arriving, waiting or leaving. Your appointment remains private, relaxed and personal from start to finish.
What should I bring?
You do not need to bring anything unless you would like to. We provide wigs, clothing, footwear, shapewear, accessories and professional cosmetics, but you are welcome to bring personal items.

Every appointment is approached with patience, warmth and complete discretion. Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning for another experience, Sophie will help you explore your look in a private, supportive and welcoming environment.

We want every client to feel completely informed before arranging their dressing service appointment. Below you'll find everything you need to know before visiting our private studio.
Your Appointment
- Appointments are strictly by prior booking.
- Only one client is seen at any one time.
- You are welcome to bring a trusted friend or companion.
- Evening and weekend appointments are available.
- Please advise us of any special requirements when booking.
- Your privacy and confidentiality are always respected.
Booking Information
- Cash, PayPal and Bank Transfer accepted.
- Deposits may be requested for longer appointments.
- Appointments can usually be rearranged with notice.
- Please wear comfortable clothing when travelling.
- You are welcome to bring your own clothing, wigs or shoes.
- We'll discuss everything before your appointment so you'll know exactly what to expect.

Booking & Payment
Simple, Discreet Payment Options
Your appointment deposit and remaining balance are separate parts of the booking. An advance deposit is normally required to secure every Dressing Service appointment unless a different deposit arrangement has been specifically agreed with Translife.
Cash
Cash is welcome for the remaining balance at your appointment. Choosing cash for the balance does not normally remove the advance deposit requirement.
Online Payment
Your advance deposit can be paid using the payment route supplied by Translife when your appointment is being arranged.
By Arrangement
If another deposit arrangement has been specifically agreed with Translife, we will confirm the details with you as part of your booking.
Prefer Not to Use Your Everyday Bank Card or Bank Details?
You can still secure your Dressing Service appointment discreetly. Our Discreet Payment Guide explains the cash-loaded prepaid Mastercard option for clients who would prefer to keep the payment separate from their everyday banking.
Once the advance deposit has been received and the appointment confirmed, the remaining balance can still be paid in cash at your appointment. Individual card payments remain subject to issuer and payment-provider authorisation.
