At this stage, the form will be working its way through the wonderful ethos and will reach us very soon. So what happens next? Well, that will depend greatly on what information you have requested. As a general guide:
You have indicated that you require an appointment on a specific date: We will check our current diary commitments to see if the date and times are free. We will get back to you on the email address provided or by telephone should you wish and confirm availability or suggest some alternative times/dates for your kind consideration.
We have listed below some additional comments relating to some of the services we have on offer that may be of interest/assistance. You can skip to the bottom paragraphs for a little more detail on what actually to expect next should you wish.
Consultation Service
If you are unsure or you just wish to talk to someone about your experiences or wish to receive guidance in any way in a safe and secure environment then this is the ideal place to start. We will be happy to listen with unbiased and practical comments where applicable.
Makeup lessons
The make-up lessons are designed to focus on issues that the clients feel they require additional guidance and or confidence, such as eye makeup or beard cover. We cover all aspects of basic skin care, colour correction, foundation selection and application, contouring, eye and lip colour application and highlighting. At the end of the lesson, we will have covered all the techniques, tips and tricks to provide you with confidence to build and create your own look. We will have some of the cosmetics used during the lesson available for purchase should you wish to do so.
Makeover and Go Service
If you have all your own items and just require a makeover before that special event or meeting then we are here to assist you with our Makeover and go service. All you have to do is sit down in the seat and we will work with you to create the desired look for the day/evening ahead. This service includes false eyelashes but not the false nails. All you have to do is pop on your favourite wig and dress and away you go. The cost of this service is currently £40 and takes around one-hour and twenty to one-hour and thirty.
Full Dressing Service
Simply put, all you have to do is bring along a smile we will provide the rest. Wigs, clothing, shapewear, breast forms, footwear, jewellery and of course the all-important makeover are all covered in the price of your appointment. The duration of the visit is totally up to you, however, we do recommend a minimum of two hours where possible.
We have a wide selection of clothing from UK size 10 to UK 22 and footwear from a UK 6 up to a UK 13 so we have everything to hand to complete your look. This is your time and we strongly believe in working with you to achieve the look you desire. After a short initial consultation (posh way of saying chat) we will sit you down in our makeup area where you can select the styles/colours of wigs that interest you. This helps us to set the colour tone of your makeup and possibly the style.
Once we have completed the makeup, you are free to select any of the dresses/clothing you wish. We will also work our way through breast form and lingerie selection. The final look will be complete by the addition of the jewellery and footwear of your choice. We will take as many digital photographs as we possibly can in as many outfits as you and or time permits to help record your time with us. All we ask is for clients to bring a memory stick along so at the end of the session we can transfer all the images (if required) to the stick for you to take away with you. We are also very happy to send selected ones on via email should you wish. We have even set up “DropBox” facilities for clients and uploaded images onto various sites such as TvChix for clients at no additional cost. Our aim is to provide the very best experience possible in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Bed and Breakfast
We have three double rooms available at our Brunswick Street West address each with a full-size double bed all rooms are charged at a single occupant rate, the latest rates can be obtained by visiting our price list page on the website.
We have a large downstairs makeup facility that can be used if available / required. There is a large main shared central walk-in shower and toilet facility on the same floor. You have a choice of a full English or Continental breakfast which is served between the hours of 8:00 and 9:30 am (or later on request), rooms are to be vacated by 11 am unless previously agreed.
Accompanied Trips
We are pleased to accompany any of our guests to local bars and clubs here in Brighton in the evenings or undertake daytime shopping trips. For shopping trips, we begin with an assessment of exactly what items you are interested in and of course what budget you may be considering so we can plan which shops etc to visit. We take into consideration any preferences you may have in terms of style, colours or designers. From this information, we can draw up a list of the best shops/areas to visit to ensure the best use of time.
Brighton has a very open and accepting atmosphere for both the shopping and nightlife is varied and interesting. Many of our clients enjoy a brief shopping trip and “Afternoon Tea” experience. The costs involved vary so please consult our latest price list for prices.
We often arrange social events such as suppers held at our establishment, or advertised events like Pride or local theatre shows. Please feel free to drop us an email and we will be delighted to inform you on the next scheduled trips/events.
What to do next?
At this stage draw up a seat and sit back whilst we review your enquiry. Depending on the nature of your enquiry you can expect the following:
Information: If you have forwarded a general enquiry for additional information then we will do our best to address all your points in a return email. Hopefully, we will be able to answer everything to your satisfaction if not please come back to us and we will clarify further.
Request a specific date for an appointment/stay: We will check the availability of your date/dates and come back to you confirming their availability or not. At the same time we may/will send a Paypal deposit request to secure the appointment date/time should you wish to proceed. In simple terms, once we have the deposit secured your appointment is confirmed.
What if I don’t have a Paypal setup?: It is not the end of the world, we have found clients feel reassured in the knowledge that the appointment is sorted and it is one less thing to worry about. You can pay in full on the day of the appointment either via cash or credit card if you desire. If we receive several enquiries for a particular day/ time slot then it is the client who provides a deposit payment who will secure the slot.
