About the Three Hours
A Framework, Not a Stopwatch
Silver is planned around approximately three hours, but every client is different. Makeup, outfit choices, photographs and confidence all develop at different speeds. The appointment is structured so that there is time to enjoy the experience rather than treating each stage as something that must be completed to the minute.
One of my favourite moments is when a client who arrived saying there was absolutely no chance of going outside looks in the mirror and suddenly asks, “Where could we go?” That decision is always theirs — I am simply there if they want someone beside them.

If You Feel Ready, Your Silver Experience Can Step Outside
One of the reasons Silver is so popular is that it gives you enough time to do more than simply admire your finished transformation in the studio. If you decide you would like to experience being out and about, you can be accompanied and supported throughout.
Going out is never compulsory.
Some clients know before they arrive that an accompanied outing is something they would like to experience. Others arrive certain that they will remain completely private and then feel differently once they see their finished transformation.
Silver gives you room for either decision. If staying in the studio feels right, that is absolutely fine. If you suddenly feel ready to step outside, your Translife host can accompany you so you do not have to face that first experience alone.
The purpose is never to push you beyond your comfort zone. It is simply to make sure that, if your confidence grows during the appointment, you have practical support beside you while you explore what that confidence might allow.
With Enough Time

Depending on the appointment, travel time and what you would like to experience, a Silver outing can sometimes extend beyond the immediate Bognor Regis area. Chichester or Arundel may be possible when the timing works.

Sophie Summers is the feminine face of the Translife Dressing Service and the person you will see throughout this website. For most Silver appointments, however, your host will normally be in male presentation while helping create your transformation.
This means the focus of the appointment remains entirely on you — your makeup, your styling, your photographs and your experience.
If You Decide to Venture Out
Support Does Not Depend on Sophie Being Dressed
If you decide during your Silver appointment that you would like to go outside, the practical support and reassurance are still there. Your host can accompany you in male presentation while you enjoy your feminine presentation.
For many clients this actually makes the experience easier: you have someone familiar beside you while the attention remains where it should be — on enjoying your own first steps.

01 Is Silver suitable for my first Dressing Service appointment?
Yes. Silver is particularly popular with first-time clients because the planned three-hour appointment gives you time to settle in, explore different looks and become comfortable with the transformation without everything feeling rushed.
You do not need previous experience with makeup, feminine clothing, wigs or walking in heels.
02 Do I need to bring my own clothes, wig or shoes?
No. Translife has clothing, wigs, feminine footwear, shapewear and accessories available as part of the Dressing Service.
Clothing is available from approximately UK size 10 to UK size 26, while the footwear collection includes larger feminine sizes up to approximately UK size 13.
You are also very welcome to bring your own favourite clothing, wig, shoes, jewellery or accessories.
03 Is going outside part of every Silver appointment?
No. Going outside is entirely optional.
You can enjoy your complete Silver experience privately inside the studio. If you feel confident enough and would like to venture out, we can consider an accompanied walk, coffee or another suitable outing within the time available.
You do not need to decide before you arrive.
04 Will Sophie be dressed during my Silver appointment?
Usually not. Sophie Summers is the feminine face of the Translife Dressing Service, but most Silver appointments are normally hosted in male presentation.
This allows the appointment to remain focused on creating and enjoying your transformation. If you decide to venture outside, your Translife host can still accompany and support you.
05 What could an accompanied outing involve?
A gentle first experience might simply involve walking through nearby Hotham Park or stopping for a coffee.
Depending on the time available and what you would like to do, local shopping or destinations such as Chichester or Arundel may also be discussed.
If a particular outing matters to you, mention it when making your enquiry so we can consider whether it is realistic within the Silver appointment.
06 Is Silver exactly three hours?
Silver is planned as an approximately three-hour appointment.
In practice, transformations do not always develop to an exact timetable, and an appointment can sometimes run a little longer when circumstances allow. We do not want an enjoyable experience to feel unnecessarily rushed.
Extra time is not guaranteed. If you know in advance that you want a substantially longer, more open-ended experience, Platinum may be more appropriate.
07 Are photographs included?
Yes. Translife photographs can be taken as part of your Silver appointment so you have a personal record of your transformation and the different looks you explore.
These are Dressing Service photographs rather than the dedicated professional photographic session included with the Gold package.
08 Will my photographs be published online?
No. Having photographs taken during your appointment does not mean they will be published.
The clients shown in the Translife Dressing Service gallery have given permission for their images to be shared. Your own photographs can remain completely private.
09 What if I am very nervous when I arrive?
That is not unusual at all. For some clients, arriving at the studio is the most nerve-racking part of the whole experience.
There is no expectation that you should immediately feel relaxed or confident. The appointment begins privately and there is time to settle in before the transformation develops.
10 Can I change back and remove my makeup before leaving?
Yes. You can change back privately at the studio and everything needed to remove your makeup is available.
If circumstances allow and you prefer to leave still dressed, that can also be discussed. The choice is yours.
11 How much is the deposit?
The normal Silver booking deposit is £50.
We first confirm the appointment arrangements with you. Sending an enquiry itself does not require payment or commit you to booking.
12 What if my preferred date is not available?
If your first requested date or time is unavailable, we can look at alternative appointment options with you.
There is no need to start the whole enquiry again simply because your first choice cannot be accommodated.
