Listed Below is a brief description of the cosmetics used during the makeover with where appropriate / applicable links to said products.

Primer / Beard Cover

The beard area was covered with Dermacolor Camouflage Cream in shade D32 applied with a synthetic foundation brush and blended into the skin by using a beauty blender. Ensure the finish is even and well blended as this is an oil based product. The final blending was achieved using a "natural" blending brush. This is then sealed by using a fine power (Dry Powder in shade P1) to seal the product in place before the foundation application.

Foundation

The three shades of Kryolan TV Paint stick used for highlighting, main shade and contouring were 3W, 6W and 10W. They were applied as follows:

3W used to highlight the forehed, bridge of the nose and the main "V" area under the eyes - I refer to these as the highlighting areas.

6W is the main shade for the central areas of the face and down the neck line

10W - This adds depth to the profile and was applied along the cheek bone area to add depth. The jawline to produce a more "oval face", the forehead area to complete the oval shape and finally the inside and tip of the nose to narrowand lift the nose.

Each of these shades are blended to a beauty blender and finished off with the blending brush to remove as much of the surface oil of the product off as possible.

Once it is all blended in well the whole face area can be lightly sealed and dusted using the same dry powder specified above.

Eyeshadow

To achieve the bright front section of the eye I used MAC Pigments in shade rose after mixing it with a mixing agent to make it an easy to apply fluid providing a "foil like" finish. This was take only half way back on the eye. The next shade applied was a dark shade from Flormor cosmetics, the top under eye section was lifted using MAC Nylon this is a very reflective shade.

Eyeliner

The water line (lower section) was lined using MAC Khol pencil in shade smoulder. The top lid (where the false eyelashes are applied) was left natural.

False Eyelashes

A full set of false eyelashes (Amazing Shine style 47) were cut and applied using Duo Glue Latter the lashes were coated with black mascara to blend them together. To broaden the outside of the eye I applied a purple shade just below the waterline and blended it into the eye socket.

Lips

The line shape was overdrawn on the top lip to balance the fullness of the bottom lip. A mid tone red lip pencil (P1201-10)  was used to outline the lip area then feathered in using a angular eyebrow brush The lips were filled to form an ombre lip the two colours used were the red (MAC Cosmetics shade Russian Red) as the outer and inside corner colours with a medium pink as the central focus colour this were blended together to form the finished look. The lips were framed by apply a very thin light foundation colour (white) on the bottom lip area only.

Under Eye / Cheeks (blusher)

To lift the under side of the eye (the top cheek bone area) a light covering of cream pink (shade Desert Rose) was applied. The highlighting was achieved by applying mac mineralised skin finish in shade soft and gentle to under the eye area, forehead and bridge of the nose. The remaining areas received a very ligh coating.
