Your makeover at the Translife studio (Bognor Regis)

You’ll start your day with Sophie in a private, friendly studio space where you can take your time and settle in.

Included:
A full makeover tailored to your face, style and comfort level
Help choosing a look that feels authentic (from subtle everyday glam to full-on fabulous)
Time to get dressed, accessorise, and refine the finishing touches
A calm, supportive atmosphere — no rushing, no judgement, just encouragement and experience

Sean Translife Photographer

Professional photoshoot with Sean (studio session)

Once you’re ready, we’ll coordinate the timing for your shoot with Sean.

Included:
A professional studio photoshoot (typically around 3 hours, sometimes slightly longer)
Time for multiple looks and outfit changes
Posing guidance so you feel confident and look your best
All your images delivered via Sean’s password-protected client area (download access)
Images are typically available within one week (often sooner)
Optional outdoor shots (weather permitting)
If the weather plays nicely, we can often take a few outdoor shots too — the surroundings near the studio are genuinely lovely.

Our preferred studio option is Barcombe Mills Station Studio — it’s secluded, well equipped, and ideal for a relaxed, high-quality shoot.

Transport (client responsibility)

Because the photoshoot takes place at a separate studio, clients provide their own transport to and from the photography studio.
As a guide, the drive from Bognor Regis to the studio area is typically around 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
If you don’t drive, just tell us when you enquire — we’ll talk through the best option so you still feel comfortable and supported.

Things to bring along

What to bring (so you feel at home)

To make the experience feel yours, we recommend bringing:

  • Some of your favourite outfits
  • Any jewellery/accessories that complete your look
  • Think of any fun props, glasses, Teddy Bear Anything
  • Your favourite or comfortable shoes (high and low heel)
  • Any Makeup your like 
  • Bring a little snack we provide coffee and tea.

If you’re unsure what to bring, don’t worry — Sophie can guide you beforehand. We also have an extensive wardrobe and wigs and accessories so if you have nothing at all we have you covered. We will also ensure you are makeup free when you leave us, unless of course you wish to keep your look on!

Deposit Payment / Securing Your Your Appointment

Deposit to secure your date

To confirm your appointment and secure studio/photographer time, a £160 deposit is required. Digital images are included in this price and will be available to download within one week maximum from the conclusion of your appointment.

Balance due on the day

The remaining balance (£150) is due on the day of your appointment.

Please NOTE: To enquire about our Gold Dressing Service Package please complete the Enquiry Form below. On receipt we will check the availability of the studio, photographer and our makeup artist and come back to you. Should you wish to proceed then we will respectfully request a deposit. The deposit can be paid via:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Is the experience private?
Yes — privacy and discretion are a top priority. The Translife studio is a calm, confidential space and you are among friends. Your images can not be accessed without your unique password, in addition images will not be shared or copied without your expressed permission. The Photo studio is in a remote area and we have the run of the roost!
Do I get all the photos?
Photography is within a blink of the eye! Sometimes you can look Fantastic and sometimes the pose is not quite right. You can request all the images, however, in our experience we like to concentrate on Quality not quantity. Sean is excellent at capturing the real you and will ensure your photographs will thrill you. On average 30-50 quality images are the norm sometimes even more. If you wish to have all the images simply let Sean know otherwise leave it up to the expert.
How quickly will I receive my photos?
The standard turn around time we require is a week, however, we appreciate how eager you are to see them and will do our best to get them to you earlier.
Can we do outdoor photos as well?
Whilst we are at the Boscombe Studio we can use the grounds (weather permitting) to do some more casual shots. If you are interested in doing a specific location shoot then Sean is very amenable and it can be arranged at a reduced price (due to no studio hire cost). Locations in London and the Sussex region are very popular. Please email Sophie for further details.
How many changes am I allowed?
Simply put its not a case of how many outfits but do you have the energy! Experience dictates that around 4-5 outfit changes is comfortable. This is mainly due to setting up for each different outfit, it can be a background change or a shift in lighting or props. We will do our best to accommodate as many looks as possible.
I have no idea of what to do!
Not everyone is born a natural poser (sounds odd that statement!), but I think you know what I mean. Being self conscious in front of a camera is normal that is why we spend the opening 10-20 minutes doing some standard poses / exercises to help you relax and get into the flow of the afternoon. Believe me in no time you will forget there is a camera and fully enjoy the experience.
