How long is a typical dressing service session?

The length of your dressing session depends on the package you choose. We offer five carefully designed options:

Makeover & Go—This service lasts around one hour to an Hour and a half. It is ideal for those short on time. It includes a full makeover and styling support.

Bronze Package – Around 2 hours. A makeover plus time for one outfit and wig change with photos.

Silver Package – Around 3 hours often slightly longer. A full makeover, multiple outfit and wig changes, with digital photography included. Can include accompanied trips & local shopping.

Gold Package – 5 to 6 hours. Includes makeover, styling, and a professional photo shoot at a nearby studio with transport.

Platinum Experience—Full day. This premium experience includes a makeover, personal shopping, lunch, a photoshoot, and tailored style support throughout the day.

Do you offer the option to go out in public while dressed?

Yes, we absolutely offer the option to go out in public while dressed as part of our dressing service experience. Whether it’s a casual stroll, visiting a local café, or doing a bit of shopping, we’ll help you plan a public outing that matches your comfort level. We’re here to support you every step of the way, ensuring you look and feel your best. It’s a wonderful way to build confidence and enjoy expressing your true self in a safe, supportive environment.

How do I book and pay for an appointment?

Booking your appointment with Translife is quick and simple. When you’re ready to secure your session, we ask for a deposit to hold your spot. This can be paid easily via PayPal or bank transfer—whichever works best for you! Once we receive your deposit, your appointment is confirmed, and we’ll send a confirmation email with all the details.

On the day of your appointment, the remaining balance is due, and you can settle it with credit card or cash. We’re here to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, and we’re always happy to assist if you have any questions along the way!

Can I bring my own clothes, wigs, or accessories to the session?

Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to bring any of your favourite items—whether it’s a special dress, a wig you feel confident in, or lingerie that means something to you. We understand that personal items can add comfort and familiarity to your transformation experience.

That said, we also have everything you might need readily available on-site: a wide selection of outfits, wigs, shoes, accessories, shapewear, and breast forms in various styles and sizes. Many clients arrive empty-handed and still leave feeling amazing. You’re free to mix and match your own pieces with ours, or simply rely on our collection to discover a look that’s new and exciting. The choice is completely yours.

Our goal is to ensure you feel confident, relaxed, and fully supported—whether you’re stepping into your feminine self for the first time or refining a look you’ve loved for years.

  • Wig styling and fitting: Choose from a selection of wigs to complete your look.

  • Outfit selection: We provide a wide range of feminine clothing and footwear in various sizes to try on, including dresses, lingerie, and heels.

  • Shapewear and padding: To help create a more feminine silhouette, we offer breast forms, hip padding, corsets, and more.

  • Photography session: We include digital photos to help capture your transformation—ideal as a keepsake or confidence boost.

  • Support and guidance: You’ll receive one-on-one advice throughout, from walking in heels to choosing outfits that suit your body shape and goals.

  • Optional add-ons: Services like video recording, public outings, or extended experiences such as our Gold dressing service with a professional photoshoot are also available.

Can I try on different wigs during my session?

Absolutely! We have an extensive collection of high-quality wigs in a wide variety of styles, lengths, and colours — from natural everyday looks to glamorous show-stoppers. During your session, you’re welcome to try on as many different wigs as you’d like. It’s all part of the fun! We’re here to help you find the style that makes you feel confident, beautiful, and uniquely you. Whether you’re curious about blonde bombshell curls or sleek brunette bobs, we’ve got the perfect wig waiting for you.

What sizes are available in the wardrobe?

👗 We’re proud to offer a wide range of outfit sizes to help you look and feel your best, no matter your body shape. Our wardrobe includes clothing from UK size 12 to UK size 24, covering a variety of styles — from casual daywear to glamorous evening looks. When it comes to footwear, we’ve got you covered too, with sizes ranging from UK 6 to UK 13 in heels, boots, and flats. Whatever your style or size, we’re confident you’ll find something that suits you perfectly!

Who does the makeover?

💄 “Andrew” carries out all makeovers — a calm, experienced, and highly skilled makeup artist with a lifelong passion for crossdressing and personal transformation. Andrew is also known to many as Sophie Summers, his elegant alter ego. Sophie embodies the very spirit of the service we offer: feminine, welcoming, and full of joy.

Andrew brings decades of understanding, technical skill, and empathy to every session. His approach is never rushed — it’s all about helping you feel relaxed, confident, and beautiful in your own skin. Whether it’s your very first time dressing or you’re an experienced visitor, Andrew ensures every detail is tailored to your needs.

On occasion, especially for accompanied outings or special experiences, Sophie may also make a personal appearance — adding an extra dimension of fun and shared understanding. Her involvement brings a sisterly touch to the experience that many clients find incredibly affirming and inspiring.

You’ll be in expert hands, guided by someone who truly understands what it means to explore and embrace your feminine side.

Are photographs included?

📸 Yes, digital photos are a key part of our service! We take lots of photographs during your session to capture your transformation from various angles and settings, ensuring you have plenty of memories to look back on. In addition to photos, we can also take video footage if you request it.

We never publish any of your photographs unless you explicitly permit us to do so. Your privacy is important to us. We offer to transfer your photos either onto a USB stick you provide or via a secure method like WeTransfer. Rest assured, your photos are yours alone unless you choose to share them.

We don’t alter the photographs digitally unless you specifically ask us to. We are happy to provide up to 10 memorable pictures at no extra cost for you to keep. These will be carefully selected to represent the highlights of your transformation.

For those seeking the ultimate photography experience, we also collaborate with a professional photographer. Our Platinum Package includes a studio photoshoot or a location-based session with a skilled photographer, ensuring the highest quality shots. Whether it’s a relaxed session in the studio or an outdoor setting, the Platinum Package delivers stunning results, capturing your transformation in breath-taking detail.
