Q: Hiya How does your sizing work - I've read that usually mens to ladies sizes means you need go up between 1.5 to 2 sizes? Thank you! Agatha x
— Asked by Agatha on December 12, 2016
A: This question does come up quite often and it is in some ways a half truth. In our experience, the shoes we have in the range are all size for size. This means that if you are a Male UK 10 then select a UK 10 for the model you are considering. There is a general guideline we use. If you wear soft shoes such as training shoes for a prolonged period then there is a possibility your feet will widen/spread a little making them slightly wider than a normal foot. In this case, you may have to consider a "wide fitting shoe" for your size or may be going up one size in the model if it is not a wide fitting style. Sadly there is not a single correct answer, we always say that we will replace any shoes or boots that do not fit with the correct sizes at no additional cost. However, we would like to ensure where possible we get it right first time. In summary, if you are looking at fully enclosed shoes such as a "classic Court Shoe" and you are not sure your feet are true to size then you may wish to go up one size. You can always put a heel grip in the shoe if it is slightly to large.
